If you are an introvert, you might frequently feel misunderstood by people who are not familiar with you. Even when someone finds out that you are an introvert, they might automatically presume that you are the type of person who doesn’t like people, being antisocial or that you’re painfully shy.

While those all may what’s look like as an introvert, there’s a lot more to you than that. For instance, introverts might seem to be silent and reserved most of the time. But in their mind, they have the loudest personality.

So, when I say that there’s a lot more to an introvert then you might realize, he are 7 reasons why introverts are the most misunderstood people you will ever know.

1.Quiet but Waiting for Attention

Introverts are super private, but they are dying to share what’s on their mind with you. Those seemingly quiet and reserved personalities actually have a lot of things on their mind that they want to say to you.

They are the type of person who doesn’t see the need to over share everything that comes to their mind. They rarely reveal many things about their personal life with others, unless you are close enough with them.

However, once they know you a bit more and consider you are a good partner for them, they might turn to be the chattiest person in the room. Besides, deep within their minds, they really just wait for someone to ask them about something pertaining to life.

2.Stay at Home but Like to Party

It is tough to get them to go out, yet they will be the life of the party once they go out. Introverts are the type who usually wants to stay at home enjoying their things. That’s why you might get a little annoyed when you tried to ask them to go out.

Here’s the things about introverts; they love their alone time and personal space. But really, how much time is too much time alone?

Sometimes, they’d like to go out and hang out with their close friends as well. Once you get the opportunity to go out with them, you might be surprised at how quickly they snap out of it and retreat back into their shell.

3.Hate Empty Socializing with Strangers

Introverts are known as the fun and crazy person when around their close friends, yet when around strangers they are known as the shy and quiet ones. This is because there’s only a select few people knowing their true nature of personality.

With your close friend whom they can treat you and respect you as whom you are, you can be completely honest to the people around you without any restriction. Therefore, you can express your feelings as much as you want, and you can tell whatever it is on your mind because you know they listen to you wholeheartedly.

But around strangers though, you don’t feel the need to share anything or react to anything at all. And thus make you seem to be shy and quiet because they don’t really know you.

4.Don’t Know How to Build a Conversation

Introverts have so many deep thoughts that they want to share the world, but they don’t know how to say them out loud or even where to start. You realize that you have so many thoughts in your mind and somehow you want to share the world about your ideas.

Unfortunately, there are not many people who can understand the thoughts in your head. Sometimes, even you can’t understand yourself, so you just don’t know where to start because you feel lost in your mind.

5. Doing Everything Alone, but don’t Want to be Lonely

You don’t have a problem doing things on your own and sometimes you even hate when someone’s meddling into your business. And yet again, you are not that tough after all; you still get lonely when you too much alone time.

Introverts are still social beings, although they choose to do things by themselves, they still crave in the company of another person. And they are not anti-social either, they merely being selectively social.

6.Crave for Deep Connections with Others, yet They make it Difficult

Introverts prefer deep and meaningful connections with others, to those they can be their true selves and express their feelings sincerely.

However, they can’t seem to give away that part of themselves to someone else easily. They rarely open up to others, but once they do, then you know that they just consider you as one of their special people.

7.Spontaneously Plan Everything

Introverts love to be spontaneous, but they secretly plan everything beforehand.

Introverts would love to be a free-spirited person; they’d like to do things spontaneously. And yet again, they always have the desire to plan things out even before making their moves.

In a way, it is good though, it means you are having control of everything but still allow the universe to guide your away.
