E-Commerce Integration
Google Analytics supports a client-side data collection technique for capturing E-commerce transactions. With some simple additions to your receipt page, Urchin can automatically detect and record transaction and product information. This data is then visible in your reports and used in calculations to derive ROI for various website activities. We recommend that the individual responsible for integrating the E-commerce code attend this session.

Marketing Campaign Tracking
Tracking your advertising campaigns allows you to see which advertising activities drive the best traffic to your site. Google Analytics uses link tagging to identify which ads (PPC, Banner, print) drive traffic to your site. We’ll teach you how to tag your advertising links and run though the reports that best show which activities are driving the best customers to your site.

A/B Testing
A/B Testing allows you to compare different versions of advertising content and their effectiveness at referring quality leads and customers. We’ll help you set up A/B testing in Urchin and then walk you through the results.

Custom Segmentation
In addition to segmenting users along pre-defined segments such as geographic region and language preference, Google Analytics allows you to define custom segments and analyze the behavior of each segment. We’ll walk you through how to set up a custom segment and how to view your report data using custom segments.

Goals and Funnel Processes
A wonderful feature of Google Analytics is its ability track users through defined navigation paths. This functionality helps you identify blocks or hurdles that users might encounter while trying to convert on your website.

During this session we will walk through how to set up goals & funnels, our best practices for installation and how to view the goals & funnels reports.

Exporting data to your CRM Application
If you use a form to collect contact information from visitors, you can post the collected information to your CRM, along with information about the campaign that referred them. This way, when a salesperson calls and closes the sale, the sale will be attributed to appropriate campaign.

Filtering and Regular Expressions
Filters are used to control the data that appears in your Google Analytics reports. Want to view the traffic for a specific directory? Create a filter and apply it to the profile. A key part of working with filters is the understanding of regular expressions. We’ll give you a basic tutorial on regular expressions and show you how to use them as filters.

Email Campaign Tracking
Google Analytics allows you to track email campaign impressions, click-throughs, and conversions. An impression is registered when the email recipient opens the message, a click through is registered when the recipient clicks on a link inside the email message, and a conversion is registered when the recipient reaches a goal page on your site or completes a purchase. This training session will walk you through how to set up Email Campaign tracking and how to interpret the results.

Users and Groups
User access to your Urchin reports and Learn how to set up new users and segment them in to various functional groups in Google Analytics.
