Consultation, Training and Support for Google Analytics Solution
Epik’s partnership with MarketSmart Interactive began with a training session designed specifically for MarketSmart Interactive. The goal of the training was to facilitate MarketSmart’s transition to Google Analytics from their previous analytics tool. To better server their needs, EpikOne divided the training into two sessions. The first session was for those individuals that use Google Analytics. This session had a ‘functional’ tone and dealt with how to use Google Analytics. The second session was devoted to those individuals that install and configure Google Analytics and was technical in nature. By tailoring the content of the training, to the needs of the groups within MarketSmart, EpikOne was able to deliver pertinent information to all MarketSmart employees.
EpikOne implemented the MarketSmart Interactive support partnership by adding MarketSmart to EpikOne’s support system. MarketSmart can contact EpikOne support staff via email, live chat or phone. To further facilitate issue resolution EpikOne routes all MarketSmart questions directly to a dedicated support representative who can provide a timely response to their question.
An important service MarketSmart provides is marketing optimization based on web analytics. MarketSmart offers web analytics services to its clients using a custom, in-house web analytics application. This application, while effective, was expensive to create and required regular maintenance.
Summary
When Google released Google Analytics as a free product, MarketSmart decided to convert their clients from their in-house analytics application to Google Analytics. Phase II
Epik’s support plan consists of tier 2 support for MarketSmart Interactive. If a MarketSmart Interactive client has a question regarding their Google Analytics implementation they contact their usual MarketSmart Interactive representative directly. If MarketSmart can not resolve the issue it is escalated to the EpikOne support team. The support process, from the client’s view, is seamless.EpikOne implemented the MarketSmart Interactive support partnership by adding MarketSmart to EpikOne’s support system.
